What does TOK offer it's Participants?

  • A uniquely designed 3x3 m² booth/kitchen area
  • An extensive POS System that links all kitchens - each 2 kitchens will share a small printer that prints the orders and the table numbers.
  • Bus boys to take dirty dishes and dishwashers to clean them
  • 20 plus waiters to take orders from tables (220 plus tables)

  • A chance for your restaurant to be exposed to thousands of customers.

What do participants provide in return?
  • Payment for booth: 0 KD (Yes, ZERO! :) )
  • Payment for marketing: 0 KD
  • Food cost: nearly 0 KD - we will give you from 15% to 30% for your food sales (the percentage will be determined on type of restaurant and type of food provided)
  • Employees: You will provide a minimum of 1 chef and 2 waiters

Participant / Exhibitionist Packages

Taste of Kuwait offers its participants two kinds of packages:
  1. The Restaurant Package & Participation Rules

    The package includes:
    • A booth with the following characteristics:
      • 3m x 3m Exhibition Space (private)
      • 2 electrical outlets
      • A prep station (50cmx80cm), and a cooking station (50cmx80cm)
      • A washing basin (shared with neighbouring booth).
      • 2 Spotlights
      • The logo of the restaurant done in an elegant way to match the interior of the event.
    • Two coupons and one advertising/menu page in Coupon booklet.
    • Logo / Company acknowledgement on offered promotional and advertised domains

    The following rules apply:
    1. If a restaurant has been open for more than 18 months, the restaurant will introduce up to 5 different NEW dishes, not introduced in the restaurant’s own menu.
    2. Two of these dishes should be a salad, an appetizer or soup, the rest are main dish items.
    3. The dishes presented in this event are “tapas” or small-portion dishes; therefore they should not exceed a third portion of a regular dish.
    4. Dishes should be presented in a nice manner (presentation is important) to comply with the atmosphere of the event.


  2. The Bakeries/Dessert/Juice Shops (BDJ) Package & Participation Rules:

    The event will have a drinks bar , a dessert booth and a bakery booth. These booths will be shared among the participating exhibitors (A maximum of 2 juice shops, 4 dessert shops and 3 bakeries ).

    The package includes:
    • Booths in the event will have the following characteristics:
      • Booth space (booth size might alter in accordance with the final number of participants):
        • Drinks bar : 2 m x 6 m Exhibition space
        • Dessert booth : 2m x 9 m Exhibition space
        • Bakeries booth : 2m x 6 m Exhibition space
      • 4 electrical outlets
      • 2 prep stations (50cmx80cm)
      • A washing basin (shared with neighbouring booth).
      • 4 Spotlights
      • The logo of the restaurant done in an elegant way to match the interior of the event.
    • Two coupons and one advertising/menu page in Coupon booklet.
    • Logo / Company acknowledgement on offered promotional and advertised domains

    The following rules apply:
    1. For Dessert shops: They will introduce up to 5 different NEW dishes, not introduced on their own menu.
    2. For Juice shops: They will serve up to 7 different drinks.
    3. For Bakeries: They will introduce up to 3 different NEW dishes, not introduced on their own menu. Two of these dishes should be a dessert, the rest is bread for the bread basket that will be complimentary introduced on each table .
    4. For Dessert shops :The dishes presented in this event are “tapas” or small-portion dishes; therefore they should not exceed a third portion of a regular dish .
    5. Dishes should be presented in a nice manner (presentation is important) to comply with the atmosphere of the event.
