Our Current Venue: TASTE OF KUWAIT - THE RESTAURANT

Volunteer Package

After reading the below, if interested in joining our team please contact us at: volunteer@tasteofkuwait.com

Note!: Volunteers are welcome to join our team anytime. There is no deadline to joining! :D

In General, why would someone volunteer?

  1. Recognition whereby the individual is motivated to volunteer by being recognized for their skills and contribution.
  2. Understanding whereby the individual volunteers to learn more about the world through their volunteering experience or exercise skills that are often unused.
  3. Social Interaction where the volunteer would like to build social networks and enjoy the social aspects of interacting with others.
  4. Values whereby the individual volunteers in order to express or act on firmly held beliefs of the importance for one to help others.
  5. Networking where a volunteer gets to meet and interact with influential and dynamic people in the industry

We at “Taste of Kuwait” feel that we can offer all of the above to any qualified volunteer that wants to join us:
  1. Recognition: all volunteers will be recognized for their efforts through our website and by giving them a certificate of achievement
  2. Understanding: our orientation meetings and brainstorming sessions will teach the volunteers to think on their feet, be problem solvers, know how to be a part of a team and learn a new skill (depends on which group they are in)
  3. Social Interaction: We are all about social interaction! As much as possible we would like the volunteers to have an enjoyable fulfilling experience that they would never forget ☺
  4. Values: Other than this being an event to help Kuwaiti local concepts, this event is also helping in a good cause: “Thalassemia Disease Awareness - The Red Ribbon Campaign”.
  5. Networking: As much as possible we will encourage the volunteers to go out and network! In fact some of the volunteer groups assigned are made for just that purpose (Journalists, Interviewers, Photographers, etc)

To have a better idea of what the volunteers will be doing please read the below agenda of activities.

For the outstanding volunteers, they will have a chance to be part of our team next year from the very beginning (planning stage to finish) and through that they will have a detailed experience of all the tears and sweat as well as all the excitement and joy of event organizing and event management, and most probably be compensated for their hard work.
